Spring Lifts & Terrain

Springtime is for the high alpine! And it also happens to be one of our favorite times of the year on snow with plans to operate into May as weather and conditions permit. We’ll be operating all Five Peaks through Sunday, April 14, and then we’ll begin to transition into our late-season operating footprint. While operations are always subject to change and Mother Nature has the ultimate say, if everything goes according to plan, following is what we have on tap for late season lift operations and you can also find this information here.

Starting Monday, April 15, the following lifts will operate for late spring skiing and riding:

Peak 8
Please be advised, there will be no beginner terrain available after April 21. Base area access out of Peak 8 is planned through April 28; after that all access to late season skiing and riding will be out of Peak 7.

  • Colorado SuperChair (through April 28)
  • Rocky Mountain SuperChair (through April 21)
  • Five SuperChair (through April 21)
  • Rip’s Ride (through April 21)
  • Snowflake (through April 21)
  • Imperial SuperChair
  • T-Bar

Peak 7

  • Independence SuperChair

Peak 6

  • Zendo Chair
  • Kensho SuperChair

BreckConnect Gondola, Transportation and Parking
The BreckConnect Gondola will operate daily through April 30 for access to Peaks 7 and 8. After April 30, the BreckConnect Gondola will be closed for the season until we open for summer operations in mid-June. This is a part of our collaboration with the Town of Breckenridge to help support the health of the Cucumber Gulch Preserve and wildlife that migrates through the gulch and under the gondola in the spring.

Starting May 1, after the closure of the BreckConnect Gondola, the North and South Gondola Lots will offer free parking, and buses will be used to transport skiers and riders up to Peak 7.

Ski & Snowboard School Lessons
Group and private lessons with the Breckenridge Ski & Snowboard School will be available through Sunday, April 21. For information and to book, visit our Ski & Snowboard School webpage.
