This will be a "farmer's market" style drop-in event in which the public is invited to learn from experts from a number of organizations about how to best be prepared for wildfire season.
We'll have representatives of fire and emergency-response agencies, of course, as well as those from the insurance industry, landscaping companies, land managers, etc. We're also planning a guest speaker from the East Troublesome fire to talk about lessons learned and things we all should be doing now, before disaster strikes.
